pick|up|lines

so i was really bored the other day and i decided that i would look up some pick up lines, not that i'd use them but they are amuzing in a way....

[a]    kia i know you remember this one...this only works with a handful for girls since noelle is a rare name...
guy- hi what's your name?
girl- noelle
guy- nice to meet you noelle, my name is ____, there's no L in my name but now there's noelle in my thoughts...

[b]   with your index finger get a girl to approach you then you say "want to hear something amuzing? i just made you come with one finger just imagine what i can do with both hands..."

[c]   "hey is that a mirror in your jeans? cuz i can see myself in them"

[d]   "you be my dairy queen and i'll be your burger king, if you treat me right i'll do it your way"

[e]   "do you believe in love at first sight? i don't need to walk by again do i..."

okay i'm bored....save me someone?

get|over|it

it's been months since i've posted something on here. i still need to add the fukuoka arc from my japan trip. i also need to talk about my cali road trip. i also need to talk about a lot of stuff that has happened the past 3 months. since i have an abundance of time at this moment not clearly knowing what to do i shall write a little bit. this is all in thanks to the snow fall and the road conditions, not that i can't drive in it, but everyone else seems to suck at it so i'll stay clear from their paths. november has been a weather nightmare. seattle has shown it's true colors in both monday night games, not the fact that our football team is still good, but the weather is as bad as it's known to be during these 7 or so months that we go through every year. a record rainfall and a sudden last of snow and coldness. life has been a rollercoaster since college life ended and now i need a stabalizer. well i'll hold off writing an epic for now. i think i'll try to write weekly at least and keep the one or two people who read this updated with the little stories my so called life.

japan|2006 part ii (kyoto arc)

3 more shots of shinjuku/roponggi..

so after just two nights and a day in tokyo, we took a shinkansen ~bullet train, to kyoto. where it's traditional japan. kyoto's train station is far from being the traditional though it is amazing. at first it seemd to be just another glorified train station but it was impressive oh and right by the kyoto tower too in which we went to the top of. it was like a cheap imitation of the space needle without the expensive restuarant at the top...

we spent only one day in kyoto, but in that one day we walke atleast a dozen miles. i swear. we it up a few temples, including the one with the thousand buddha wood statues. too bad they didn't let us take pictures inside. i guess they make more money by having you buy their photographs of the statues at thier gift shop. we also ended up walking randomly around kyoto walking around the slums and the outskirts of town. we even found an all girls school. too bad it was a middle school...oh and we found an all girls dorm. it was heavily guarded and had chainlink fences and barbed wire also. i guess they want to keep the perverts out. damn... to my surprise this middle school was where daigo's mom went to school... and i missed out because he said that if we took a right we would have seen a college... hmm... dammit.

yeah this is the picture at the all girls dorm. you see that white stuff on my elbows? yeah around the corner they had a tall white cement fence... unfortunately neither my cousin or leo followed so i retreated and took this picture...

so our hotel room in kyoto was rather small. it was way more traditional japanese than the first one. not that it had baboo mats or futon service, but the bathroom is what i was envisioning when we arrived to japan, cramp and small.

it's a small world in kyoto. we saw the smae peopel more than a few times. there was this cute girl on a bike that passed us like 3 times. if she passed us a 4th time i would have had to stop her and try to communicate with her. atleast that was what my cousin said i had to do. unfortunately we didn't. tsk tsk tsk. oh and we found a 711 that sold these really good waffle ice cream bars with chocolate in them. they were really good. yeah so we had a midnight craving after watching a food show on the tele in our room so we walked around looking for another 711, but we couldn't and we settle for convenient mart called 'lawson' and bought various snacks to munch on... kyoto was fun, i wish i could have went to ise, which was in the nara region close by. i wanted to see the ise shrine. it's a famous shrine they rebuild every 20 years. it's an interesting work of architecture by itself. too bad, maybe next time.  this concludes the trip to kyoto, next is fukuoka and the adventures with vas. that will wait til next time.

japan|2006

so i've been back in the states for a week and i'm finally posting my japan capsule of memories for the world to see or the very few that bother to check out my xanga... i took a lot of pictures

11 hours later i land in japan where it's like 30 C... (~86 F) not that it's that bad, it was 97 in seattle when i left, but it's humid in japan, just like the philippines. once i reached the airport sweat!

$251.00 = JR rail pass. yeah it was worth it. it helped me get around and it easily saved me a couple hundred dollars. at the first the train maps were confusing, but you get used to them.

the first night my cousin jennifer and her friend leo decided to go grocery shoping, actually we were just looking for food. we ended up eating at a really cheap place right by our hotel. we took pictures of the watermelons and the $80 melon...

our hotel was the tanakawa prince hotel in shinagawa just a bit south of central tokyo. we had a view of tokyo tower from our room. it was rather nice. here are some night pictures with my old bulky cannon powershot a80...

so our first stop the next day was akihabara, its electric town.... so if you need any kind of electronic known to man, it's most likely located somewhere in this sector of tokyo. yeah so their cell phones are uber pimp and some of them have higher mrgapixels than my camera. there are crazy cool, some can even play televison... man...we went to the duty free also...

next! shinjuku big buildings! what i wanted to see... except the big screen is in shibuya... but oh well we saw so many people here. it was a wednesday and it was busy as hell. it had nice buildings. we went to an imfamous japan arcade. yeah i played the pick-up a stuffed animal crane game. yeah it took me 200 yen to get a stitch in a seal costume. jennifer wasted 1500 yen and came out empty... we were goin to go bowling but.. we're gonna go drunk bowling in cali instead!

i like this next picture, do you actually think they knew what they were trying to read?

the night life: roponggi: ropongi hills. so i only have pictures of when we were tourists. my camera is just too big to lugg around at the night life so here is the tourists downed version of our roponggi romp. oh we actually had to pay for the subway... not too bad. their subway system is rather good.

this concludes part 1 of japan|2006... more to come soon
